Growing Global Citizenship Education in Aotearoa is designed to support teachers to inspire and grow global citizenship education in their classrooms, schools and kura. It is proudly hosted by the Centres of Asia-Pacific Excellence (CAPEs) which is funded by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). The CAPEs are delivered by a consortium of four universities: The University of Auckland, Victoria University of Wellington, The University of Waikato, and The University of Otago.
The CAPEs education team
Based at Waikato University, the CAPE’s Education Team are responsible for creating and curating resources on this site, as well as providing professional learning and development to educators to support them to understand and teach global citizenship education.
